Israeli Navy Chief visits Kochi

Vice Admiral Ram Rutberg, Commander-in-Chief of Israeli Navy, held discussions with Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, Flag Officer Commander-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command here.

An official release said they discussed issues of common interest to both the navies, including joint maritime cooperation.

Visits facilities

The Admiral visited the training facilities of the Southern Naval Command and the indigenous aircraft carrier under construction at Cochin Shipyard Ltd. during his visit.

The Admiral had earlier visited the naval establishments at Goa, Mumbai, and Delhi before reaching Kochi, the release said.
