Iranian envoy visits chamber

Hassan Nourian, consul general of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday and held discussions with its members and directors. The Chamber team was led by its chairman Raja Sethunath, who presided at the meeting. He welcomed the consul general and his team members.

The meeting highlighted the essentials of cooperation to enhance the possibility for business development between India and Iran. Mr. Nourian said there was ample opportunity for economic cooperation between the two countries. He also mentioned that India had expressed willingness to investment in the fields of port development, petrochemicals, design and development of gas fields.
