Rev. Dr. Francis Kallarakkal will be installed as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Varappuzha on Sunday. Cardinal Telesphore Placidus Toppo, Archbishop of Ranchi, will lead the ceremonies, scheduled to start at St. Albert's Higher Secondary School grounds at 4 p. m., said a press release here.
About 25 Bishops and 350 priests and religious will participate in the liturgy. Msgr. Dr. Chibuike will represent the Vatican at the installation ceremony.
The ceremonies will begin with the reading out of the order from Pope Benedict XVI, in Latin, appointing Dr. Kallarakkal as the head of the archdiocese of Varappuzha.
