Actor Innocent, who filed his nomination papers as the LDF candidate for the Chalakudy parliamentary constituency on Thursday, declared a total asset of Rs. 4.08 crore.

In the mandatory affidavit attached to the nomination papers, the candidate listed liquid cash of Rs.7,000 and a bank deposit of Rs.99.82 lakh as assets. Besides, he owns vehicles worth Rs.33.5 lakh.

The candidate also owns 96 grams of gold jewellery worth Rs.2.70 lakh while his spouse possessed 640 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs.18 lakh. The candidate owns a 59-cent property worth Rs.1.2 crore, in addition to a house with a built-up area of 7,500 sq.ft.

P.C. Chacko, his rival candidate from the UDF for the same seat, has movable assets worth Rs.22.80 lakh while that of his wife was Rs.1.12 crore. His total immovable assets included a farmland valued at Rs.12.75 lakh and a house with a built-up area of 2,000 sq.ft, which is priced at Rs.20 lakh.

The couple possess a total liquid cash of Rs.55,200 and owe a total liability of Rs. 20.63 lakh.

The LDF candidate for Ernakulam, Christy Fernandez, declared Rs.30,000 as liquid cash while his wife had a sum of Rs.20,000. His immovable properties include a 1.74-acre farm land property in Pulinkunnu worth Rs.34.74 lakh, another one in Kaloor worth Rs.1.05 crore.

He also owns two cars a Toyota worth Rs. 8.35 lakh and a Maruti worth Rs.4.8 lakh. Further, he owns 75 grams of gold jewellery.
