The rehearsals for the Independence Day parade in the district will be held at the Parade Ground at the collectorate between from August 11 and 13.
On August 11 and 12, the parade rehearsal would be held from 3 p.m. and the dress rehearsal on August 13 would be held at 8 a.m.
Sever armed sections, 18 unarmed sections and seven band groups will be part of the parade. Students would be given travel concession on private buses on the rehearsal days.
The service of a medical group would be made available on all three rehearsal days and during Independence Day parade. Additional District Magistrate C.K. Prakash has asked various departments to make all necessary arrangements at the ground by Tuesday.
