Four persons, including a three-year-old child, was killed in an accident that occurred at Kothamangalam on Wednesday at around 7 a.m.
Police said that the jeep in which the family of Chandran, 42, of Ammuppally House, Keerampara, Thattekad, was travelling rammed head-on into the transport bus near Sobhana School. Chandran, his wife Bindu, 30 and Suseelan, 60, were killed on the spot. Their child died at Kolenchery hospital.
Details of other victims of the accident were yet to be collected, the police said.
