: The Kalamassery police on Tuesday arrested four persons, including two minors on charges of theft.
The arrested were identified as Rafeez, 23, of Trichy and Shiva, 19, from Dindigal, Tamil Nadu.
They were arrested in connection with the stealing of copper cables worth Rs.1.10 lakh from an industrial unit near Kalamssery and two scooters from Kalamssery and Eloor each.
Shiva, wanted in another theft case last year, was the first to land in custody. Based on his statements, the others were also taken into custody.
The accused were produced in a court and released to police custody for detailed interrogation.
