The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has signed a performance memorandum of understanding with the Union Department of Fertilisers for the new financial year.
A statement issued by the FACT said the company envisaged a sales turnover of Rs. 2,614 crore during the financial year 2015-16.
The major physical targets for the financial year include production and marketing of 7.5 lakh tonnes of Factamfos, which is the major revenue earner and the flagship product for the public sector fertiliser company.
The company also envisages sale of 2.08 lakh tonnes of ammonium sulphate.
The fertiliser company also targets a turnover of Rs. 66 crore during the financial year from activities undertaken by FACT Engineering and Design Organisation and Rs. 22 crore from FACT Engineering Works, which are the company’s engineering and fabrication units.
The MoU was signed by FACT chairman and managing director Jaiveer Srivastava and secretary (fertilisers) of the Department of Fertilisers J.K. Mohapatra.
The memorandum of understanding for 2014-15 had envisaged a total sales turnover of Rs. 3,850 crore with the major physical targets including production and sale of 7.5 lakh tonnes of Factamfos.
The other targets for the financial year that has just ended included sale of two lakh tonnes of ammonium sulphate.
