A meeting of the College of Consultants, a closed group under the Syro-Malabar Church’s Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese, was held here on Friday, in the backdrop of allegations in the multi-crore land deal involving the archdiocese.

The 12-member body is learnt to have discussed different aspects of the issue which saw stakeholders seeking a transparent probe by the Vatican into the sale of over three acres of land.

The meeting would be followed by meetings of the Presbyteral Council and Pastoral Council, it is learnt.
