Bunty Chor to be brought to city soon

Devinder Singh, also known as Bunty Chor, will be brought to the city in connection with the theft of a car here.

Legal steps

The city police is learnt to have initiated legal steps to take Bunty Chor into custody.

The police are suspected to have got some leads regarding his involvement in the theft of a car from Panampilly Nagar.

Bunty Chor was produced before the Third Class Magistrate Court, Thrissur, on Monday in connection with the theft of a car from a house at Kuriachira. Earlier, he was arrested on charges of burglary and theft of a luxury car from a house in Thiruvananthapuram.

It is now suspected that he might have picked the car from the city, during his stay in the State. The City Police had conducted a probe into the case a couple of months ago.

Bunty Chor’s custody is being sought to verify the leads that were secured during the probe, police sources said.
