The Southern Naval Command, Kochi, will honour some of its personnel with awards for exceptional service on the occasion of Republic Day.
The officers selected for the Nao Sena Medal (for devotion to duty) are Surgeon Rear Admiral Nirmala Kannan, VSM, Command Medical Officer; Commodore Sunil Anand, Chief Staff Officer (Personnel and Administration) and Commander Manoj M. Jacob, Chief Manager (Production), Naval Aircraft Yard.
The officer selected for Vishisht Seva Medal is Commander P.S. Virdi, Officer in Charge, School for Naval Airmen.
