A total of 303 nominations were filed for the 14 Assembly constituencies in the district, as the filing of nominations for the May 16 polls ended on Friday.
On the last day, as many as 87 candidates filed 109 nominations.
The scrutiny of nominations will be done by the respective Returning Officers on Saturday.
Withdrawal
Candidates have time to withdraw their nominations till 3 p.m. on May 2.
Excise Minister K. Babu filed his nomination for the Tripunithura constituency. His affidavit said he had Rs.40,000 in hand, while his wife Geetha has Rs.10,000 and 33.75 sovereigns of gold.
The couple has deposits worth Rs.8.18 lakh in various banks. Mr. Babu also owns a car worth Rs.9 lakh.
The declaration states that Mr. Babu has immovable property worth Rs.81.91 lakh, while his wife owns property worth Rs.83.73 lakh. As many as six cases are pending against him in various courts in Kerala, according to the affidavit.
