A 26-year-old native of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, was arrested by officials of the She Teams for harassing a married woman in the city. The victim lodged a complaint after the accused, P. Babajan, began calling her repeatedly late at night and abusing her.
According to a press release from Swati Lakra, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Babajan did not stop harassing her even after the victim’s husband warned him against doing so . The couple then lodged a complaint with the police. After his arrest, Babajan was brought to Hyderabad and handed over to the Chikkadapally police.
