District Collector Yogitha Rana received the national award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her excellence in civil administration making the Nizamabad Electronic National Agricultural Market (e-NAM) the best in the country, at a function held in New Delhi on Friday.

The function was conducted in connection with the 11th National Civil Service Day. On the occasion, the district administration also organised celebrations at Pragathi Bhavan here. A galaxy of officers including Joint Collector A.

Ravinder Reddy, Assistant Collector Rahul Raj and Sub-Collector Sikta Patnaik watched the direct telecast of the award presentation ceremony.

The Prime Minister also gave away awards to the districts that were in the forefront of the implementation of Centre’s BJP-led NDA Government’s flagship programmes such as Prime Minister Fasal Yojna, Prime Minister Sinchayee Yojna, Swachh Bharath and e-NAM.

Union Minister Jithender Singh, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister (personal) Nripender Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary P.K. Mishra and senior officer in PMO P.K. Sinha were also present at the event.
