CPI (ML) Maoist calls two-day bandh in AP, TS

The Andhra and Telangana Provincial Committees of CPI(ML) Maoist has given a call for two-day bandh in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States on July 6 and 7 demanding withdrawal of paramilitary forces deployed in different parts of the country and release of all political prisoners.

In a statement issued on July 1, spokesperson of the provincial committees Yugandhar Dev said deployment of paramilitary forces against people was an anti-national act and against the provisions of the Constitution. Such deployment had devastated the social, economic and cultural life of tribals and dalits, Mr. Dev said.
