The Lepakshi Cotton and Silk FAB that was launched at Satya Sai Nigamagamam, Srinagar colony here on Sunday offers wide variety of choice for women under one roof.
It is being organised in connection with Ugadi festivities and the expo will remain open till Sunday. There are over 60 stalls offering the best sarees and dress materials for women from across the country. In addition , there are stalls that offer beads, gems, semi-precious stones, ear rings and other articles.
Bengali silk, Bhagalpur Silk, Banaras silk, Orissa Silk, Kota Sarees, Cotton printed, Kutch Embroidery and Kashmir Silk are a few products that would catch the eye of many women.
The main aim of conducting such exhibitions is to provide people an opportunity for people to purchase different varieties of sarees at one place without much hassle and help weaves and artisans market their products, said Y. Madhusudhan Reddy, IFS, Managing Director APHDC, Hyderabad.
