Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that drinking water for every household under Gajwel Pragnapur Nagara Panchayat will be supplied in the next 10 days.
The Minister has also promised to transform Oora cheruvu as mini tank bund and establish Vaikuntha Dhamam at an estimated cost of Rs. 50 lakh.
Road works
Mr. Harish Rao along with officials visited the Nagara Panchayat limits on Monday and asked people about their problems and promised to address them at the earliest. The Minister also promised to take up road works at an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore, Mahila Bhavan at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh. “We have completed construction of 100-bed hospital at Gajwel and now the focus will be on transforming the area hospital. Referring to establishment of various educational institutes, the Minister urged the public to admit their wards in government schools. “We feel that the development is possible only with education and hence Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had sanctioned as many as 120 residential schools and 25 SC Degree Colleges for Women. Few more SC residential schools will be established shortly,” he added.
“Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao wants to irrigate more land through Kaleswaram project.
Farmers’ suicides can be prevented only by constructing irrigation projects. Please cooperate for land acquisition under LA Act -2013 and help government in speedy completion of irrigation projects,” urged Mr. Harish Rao.
