Video of youth being beaten goes viral

The Hussainialam police are verifying the video footage of a youth being brutally beaten up by a group of persons near Standard High School on Khilwat road. The 2-minute 14-second video went viral on social networking sites after it was posted three days ago. In the video, the youth aged around 25 could be seen running between vehicles, while a few others are seen chasing and cornering him. It shows the group raining blows on him and tearing his shirt even as he cried in pain. The video is believed to have been shot on the GHMC polls on Tuesday. Soon after the video was posted, viewers posted comments demanding investigation into the video and arrest of those involved in it.
