Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, has assured that the vacant posts of veterinary doctors will be filled up soon through Telangana State Public Service Commission.
Reminding that the government has sanctioned 276 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons and 398 posts of Veterinary Assistants, he said requests have been received for direct recruitment, which is also under consideration.
Addressing a press conference, after a meeting with representatives of dairy and other related sectors, he said he will tour all the districts to understand the problems faced by various federations.
To begin with, he will visit Nalgonda district on May 18.
The Minister advised for consolidation of caste-based associations, so that each caste is represented by not more than one group.
The leaders of the associations may be taken on exposure trips to other States to appraise them of the latest technologies being employed in the sector concerned.
Mr. Srinivas Yadav promised that the funds from National Cooperative Development Corporation will be released to all districts phase-wise.
