UoH student tops in CSIR-NET

Achievements of University of Hyderabad (UoH) students continue to surface despite the troubles rocking the university. B. Prasuna, a final-year Integrated Masters student of the School of Mathematics and Statistics has secured all-India first rank in the CSIR-NET Examination.

She secured 158 marks out of a total of 200 marks and plans to pursue her Ph.D. at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).

An ardent reader of books, Prasuna spends most of her time in the library and likes to interact with fellow students on academic issues which help in gaining knowledge. She says that the School of Mathematics has a good atmosphere for teaching.
