Taxi hailing app firm Uber set up its first kiosk at Miyapur Metro Station and plans to soon expand to other stations across the city.

Announcing that it has joined hands with Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd for first and last mile connectivity solutions, the company said the partnership would reduce the demand for parking in the stations and thus reduce congestion.

A release from Uber said the company has also expanded its uberMOTO services to Miyapur and Ameerpet. Stating that the fares start at ₹ 20, Uber said its driver partners would be complementing public transit systems and stood to also benefit from increased demand for rides from and to the metro stations.
