The Gopalapuram police arrested two persons in connection with the death of two labourers at an under-construction site near Sangeet Theatre in Secunderabad on Saturday.

The arrested persons were identified as site supervisor Saleem and proclainer operator Satish. The police registered a case under Section 304 A (Rash or negligent act not amounting to culpable homicide) against four persons, including the builder who is reportedly absconding. “We will arrest them soon,” said Gopalapuram Inspector, S. Ramchandra Reddy.

It may be recalled that two labourers, B. Sharadha (32) and Rajjiah (45) were buried alive when a huge mound of mud fell on them while they were removing earth to construct a cement retaining wall on Saturday.
