Two boys drowned in an open agriculture well when they went to wash their hands after having their lunch on near Mallapur on Wednesday. Srikanth (14) of Korutla and Chaitanya (12) of Odedu village in Nizamabad district visited their relative’s house. Being from the shepherd community, the victims along with a relative Anji went out to graze the sheep in the fields. They accidentally slipped into the well and got drowned. When the boys did not return for a long time, Anji rushed to the spot and found only their slippers near the well. He immediately raised an alarm and other villagers rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies.
