TVS Motor Company launched its new motorcycle TVS Star City here on Tuesday. The mid-range 109.7 cubic centimetres (cc) engine comes with a host of first-time features, apart from claiming to give a mileage of 86 kilometres per litre (KMPL).
The newly launched bike, built on the TVS Star bike lines, comes with an ‘Ecothrust’ engine, churns out more power and pickup, with the motorcycle going from 0 to 60 kilometres per hour (KMPH) in 7.6 seconds, said J. S. Srinivasan, vice-president, sales, TVS Motor Company, here at a press conference on Tuesday.
Some of the new features in the bike, are an analogue speedometer, a digital information display, and a service indicator to intimate the rider when the bike is due for service.
