Executive director of the Greater Hyderabad Zone of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) A. Purushotham Naik was allegedly attacked by three employees as one of them was enraged that he was not being reinstated to a post of his choice.

Reddy and Venugopal to accompany him to the executive director’s office to speak to him. He went into the office and demanded Mr. Naik deploy him at the Medchal depot. He then hit Mr. Naik with a chair. His two accomplices too assaulted Mr. Naik,” Bowenpally inspector A. Srinivasulu said.
Mr. Naik sustained injuries on his head and neck. He is on leave.
