TS woos Canadians with Toronto show

Attractive destinations in India’s 29{+t}{+h}and youngest State were showcased at a ‘Telangana Tourism’ roadshow organised in Canada’s Toronto on Thursday. The programme was sponsored by the Union Ministry of Tourism.

In presence of Indian Consul-General in Toronto, Akhilesh Mishra, and addressing participants of the India Tourism roadshow, Telangana’s Principal Secretary (Tourism and Culture) B.P. Acharya explained how tourism and culture were being given a boost in Telangana with more destinations and circuits being added.

The gathering at the road show, comprising over 100 leading tour operators and travel agents based in Toronto, evinced interest in promoting visits from North America to Hyderabad and other places in Telangana.
