Training for PR practitioners

The Press Academy of Telangana will conduct training in Public Relations to all communication and public relations professionals in the State, including I&PR Department, Heads of Departments, Secretariat Departments, Public Sector Undertakings, Educational Institutions, editor of Public Relations Voice C.V.Narasimha Reddi said in a statement.

Mr. Reddy had earlier filed a complaint with the Lok Ayuktha to recommend to the State Government to establish Mass Communication and Public Relations Academy of Telangana State on the lines of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, for the purpose of training, research and evaluation in the field of public relations and mass communication.

He said the Government has instructed the Press Academy of Telangana to organise the training instead of establishing a separate academy, and appealed to to the PR practitioners to to participate in the training.
