An outsourced worker of Telangana State Power Transmission Corporation (TSTransco) named Harish, died after falling off a 220KV tower in Moosapet here on Saturday. He was working on the tower, and fell while trying to get down. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but to no avail, officials informed. The Telangana Electricity Contract Employees’ JAC members, who protested near Indira Park, alleged that Mr. Harish lost his focus due to pressure from authorities to not participate in the demonstration. The CMD of TSTransco, D. Prabhakar Rao, while confirming the death, refuted the allegations of the JAC.
