Traffic diversions in Hyderabad

Police have announced traffic restrictions on November 15, in connection with the Bibi ka Alam procession in the city between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. The procession will start at Bibi Ka Alawa and pass through Shaik Faiz Kaman, Yakutpura road, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Sardar Mahal, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Panjeshah, Mir Alam Mandi, Darulshifa, Kalikhabar and culminate at Chaderghat. Traffic will be regulated around these areas as and when the procession reaches these places. APSRTC district buses will be diverted to Gowliguda and Rang Mahal Road from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and they will not be allowed to ply on the Kalikabar Road till the procession terminates.

Secunderabad area

Traffic restrictions will be in place between 4 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. in the following areas of Secunderabad. Vehicles coming from Tank Bund towards Karbala Maidan will be diverted at Children’s Park towards R.P. Road. Traffic from R.P. Road, towards Karbala Maidan, will be diverted near Traffic PS Begumpet. Mahatma Gandhi Road between Central Telegraph Island and Ranigunj will be a ‘one way’ towards Ranigunj side. Traffic will be diverted at Ranigunj Junction towards the Ministers Road as per the situation.
