Three run over by train

They were crossing the track after getting down a passenger train

A four-year-old boy, his grandmother and a B.Com final year student were killed as a goods train run over them as they were crossing the track here after alighting from a passenger train from Secunderabad.

Little Savendra and Boyini Navya (19) were killed on the spot. The boy’s grandmother Balavva (60), who was seriously injured, died while undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital here on Friday.

Belonging to Lingampet, Balavva and Savendra had boarded the train at Akkannapet station while Navya got into the train at Biknoor station.

Superintendent of Police N. Swetha Reddy and railway authorities visited the spot. The Government Railway Police are investigating the case.
