But it was too late by that time and both of them were found dead. Bodies were shifted to Government Hospital at Jogipet for post-mortem. Pulkal police registered a case and are investigating.

In Mudigonda

Holi celebrations ended on a tragic note at Vallabhi village in Mudigonda mandal of Khammam district as a 20-year-old youth drowned in an agriculture well.

The police identified the deceased as Sai Krishna, a local youth belonging to an agricultural family.

Sources said Sai Krishna and his friends celebrated Holi together and soon after that, they went to an agricultural well on the outskirts of the village to take bath.

Sai Krishna first ventured into the well and got stuck in the slush unaware of its depth. His friends shouted for help in an attempt to save him. The local police soon rushed to the village and retrieved his body from the well with the help of villagers.

The Mudigonda police registered a case and are investigating.
