The Hindu’s What Industry Wants session today

T.N. Hari, head HR of BigBasket, to address the graduates

TalentSprint, a youth career accelerator, in association with The Hindu , is organising a session on ‘What Industry Wants’ on October 21 at 11 a.m. at Vindhya C6, IIIT Campus, Gachibowli.

It’s open to all graduates and those about to complete their graduation in engineering and science. Details can be had on 70328-05499. T.N. Hari, head HR- BigBasket and strategic advisor at Fundamentum, will be the speaker who will share his views on the industry and answer questions posed by students.

Mr. Hari is an advisor and mentor to numerous young entrepreneurs and start-ups. He is also a strategic advisor at Fundamentum, a scale-up platform committed to building enduring technology companies out of India and founded by Nandan Nilekani and Sanjeev Aggarwal, both of whom have a stellar record in entrepreneurship and investing. Hari also heads HR at BigBasket.

An alumnus of IIT and IIM, Mr. Hari worked at an executive level with multiple start-ups/scale-ups. He has authored two books. The recent one, published by the Penguin, is titled Cut the Crap and Jargon – Lessons from the Startup Trenches .

‘What Industry Wants’ aims at bridging the gap between the industry and soon-to-be professionals. The monthly event provides necessary exposure for fresh graduates on what career opportunities lie ahead for them in the IT industry.
