December 02, 2017 01:00 am | Updated 03:17 pm IST - HYDERABAD

The Hindu, in partnership with Telangana Tourism, will conduct a poster design contest for school students to celebrate World Heritage Week from December 19 to 25.

The competition is open to students of classes four to ten and will be conducted in two categories — junior (class four to seven) and senior (classes eight to ten).

Contestants have to prepare a poster on the theme of ‘Heritage monuments of Telangana’.

They can choose any of the heritage monuments of the State and draw a poster depicting and highlighting its importance.

Students should draw the poster on A3 size drawing sheets based on the above specifications and get their School Principal to sign on the back side of the paper.

Contestants must clearly mention their name, class, school name, address, contact number and email on the back side of the sheet.

The posters should reach THE HINDU, door no. 6-3-879 & 879B, Begumpet, Hyderabad-500016, by post/by courier/by hand on or before December 6.

Further clarifications can be sought from M. Ravi Sankar on 9010588788.
