The current day temperatures being recorded in Adilabad are not much in variation with the normal average of 42 to 43 degrees Celsius in April, but what is tormenting citizens is the quantum of radiation which comes with the sunlight.

Also troublesome is the vast difference of over 22 degrees Celsius between the minimum and maximum temperatures for the last week or so.

Mornings have been rather cold with a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees C being recorded on April 11 which steadily climbed to 20.6 on April 18. The maximum temperatures recorded during the week were 41.3 degrees Celsius on April 11, the highest of 44.4 degrees C on April 16 while it was 44.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. As hot winds are blowing from the North, normal life is getting dislocated for most part of the day. Citizens however, are braving the hot conditions as they need to come out owing to the exigencies of the wedding season.
