The Telangana Government has decided to make all educational institutions, both in private and public, teach Telugu as a compulsory subject from 1st to 12th standards. Chief Minister K. At a meeting held in Pragati Bhavan, he wanted all the public and private establishments and institutions in Telangana to display their names in Telugu on their signboards. It was up to them to write their firm’s names in other languages too. These two issues would soon be put up for Cabinet resolutions to be passed.
