Two students of NALSAR University were caught on the charge of possessing marijuana by the police on Monday.

The duo, Yuvaraj Rattan Mehra and Aravind Kumar, second-year law students, were spotted by cops near Shamirpet. Suspicious of their movements, police checked them and allegedly recovered about 450 grams of marijuana from their possession. The cops learnt that the students had purchased the contraband from an auto driver in Dhoolpet. They were arrested and produced in court.

In another incident, a Central Crime Station team nabbed two men in their early 20s, including an engineering graduate, for alleged chain-snatching. The police arrested the duo, Mohammed Shahbazuddin and Mustafa Khan, on the charge of robbing a woman of a gold chain in Khairatabad on October 12.
