The 20-year-old engineering student B. Sravani, who received grievous injuries in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts, has been shifted to NIMS on Wednesday.

According to the Arogyasri Health Care Trust officials, the girl will be kept under observation before further treatment modalities are chalked out by the hospital doctors. “We are happy that Sravani has been shifted to NIMS for treatment. But, we are surprised that she is being kept in a general ward along with male patients. We have requested for a room and hopefully the hospital officials will help us to shift by Thursday,” a close relative of Sravani said.

The Arogyasri authorities said that they are working closely with NIMS plastic surgeons to chalk out the treatment plan.

“We are coordinating with Arogyasri empanelled doctors at NIMS. The plastic surgeons will come out with a plan of treatment and then the proposal will be sent to Arogyasri for approval,” Arogyasri officials maintained.
