Policemen on night patrol in Begumpet went into a tizzy after they were alerted about a woman being kidnapped by two persons on a motorcycle on Saturday night. Alerted by a passers-by, the patrol teams got ready to intercept the motorcycle, but were aghast to find that the woman and her friend were intoxicated.
Breaks breath analyser
The policemen were in for more surprise as the woman picked up a quarrel with them and broke a breath analyser when policemen asked them to take the test.
All the three were taken into custody and let off after registering a case of nuisance and triple riding. Police said the woman, whose name was withheld, and her friend reportedly consumed liquor at a pub in GVK Mall in Banjara Hills and as they did not want to drive the car, called another friend to drop them home in Trimulgherry.
For some strange reason, they left the car and were triple-riding the motorcycle. Passers-by mistook that the woman was being kidnapped and alerted a patrol vehicle which caught up with the trio at Begumpet flyover.
