South Central Railway on Wednesday announced that it will run 20 weekly summer specials between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam; and Visakhapatnam and Dharmavaram to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Also, eight specials will be operated between Kacheguda and Tatanagar. Accordingly, No. 07438 will leave at 1 p.m. on June 6, 13, 20 and 27 to reach its destination at 7.45 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, No. 07439 will leave Tatanagar at 10.50 p.m. on June 7, 14, 21 and 28 and arrive at Kacheguda at 5 a.m. the next day.
Enroute these specials will stop at Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sukinda Road, Kendujhargarh, Jaroli, Banspani, Dangoaposi and Chaibasa stations.
Train no. 07271 will leave Vijayawada at 11 p.m. on June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and arrive at Visakhapatnam by 7 a.m. the next day. On the return, No. 07272 will leave Visakhapatnam at 12.15 p.m. on June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3, to reach Vijayawada at 7.20 p.m. the same day. No. 07273 will leave Visakhapatnam at 4.45 p.m. on June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1, to reach Dharmavaram at 12.40 p.m. the next day.
In the return direction, No. 07274 will leave Dharmavaram at 2.30 p.m. on June 4, 11, 18, 25 and July 2 to reach its destination at 10.25 a.m. the next day.
Enroute the trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddaluru, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Gooty and Anantapur stations, a release said.
