Members of the Society to Save Rocks here on Monday reiterated their appeal to bureaucrats, asking them to look at their objective with sympathy and help save rock formations.
The occasion was the 19{+t}{+h}Foundation Day of the society that currently has just over 300 members comprising people from all walks of life. A calendar with stunning visuals of rocks in the city was released on the occasion by Principal Secretary-Tourism B.P. Acharya.
Society president and former bureaucrat Narendra Luther said it was an irony heritage sites had been notified but a large number had been destroyed.
