Retired I&PR official Raja passes away

S.P.S. Raja, who retired after serving the Information and Public Relations Department in various capacities passed away here on Wednesday.

In a condolence message, Telangana I&PR Commissioner B.P. Acharya said that Raja gave dignity to every post he had held. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Mr. Raja, who served in the combined State, was the press secretary to three Governors N.D. Tiwari, Surjit Singh Barnala and E.S.L. Narasimhan for about two decades. Earlier he was known to every one as president of OU Journalism Association. The funeral will take place at Amberpet crematorium on Thursday at 10 a.m.
