Redesigning projects: panel to give the proposal a final shape

March 28, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The Cabinet Sub-Committee on irrigation projects has decided to give a final shape to redesign and reengineer the projects package as the process had financial commitment. The committee which met under the chairmanship of Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao in the Assembly also decided to hold another sitting on March 30, a day ahead of the proposed presentation on projects by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the Assembly. Sunday’s meeting was confined to discussing the technical issues involved in redesigning and reengineering of the projects.

As some components of proposals by the government about projects had financial implications, the committee felt the need to coordinate with the Finance Department in the progress of the works.
