Raj Bhavan lit up

The premises of the Raj Bhavan was virtually lit up and sparkled on Monday evening as officers, staff and their families celebrated the festival of lights a day before. Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan participated in the celebrations.

The staff and their family members presented a variety of cultural programmes in the Durbar hall and later crackers were burst, marking the commencement of Diwali celebrations. The Governor and his wife conveyed their greetings and hosted dinner in the lawns of Raj Bhavan.

Senior officers including P. Basanth Kumar, Sqn. Ldr. Shyam Sundar, S. Hari Krishna, G. Raja Subhash, Bhavani Shankar, R.S.Gopal and others were present.
