With a total investment of Rs. 340 crore, this new 270 - room flagship property is the ninth addition to the Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels’ collection of boutique hotels. The Park, Hyderabad is a LEED GOLD certified green hotel by the US Green Building Council.
The leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is internationally recognised and measures how efficiently a building or community perform across all relevant metrics like energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality as well as stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
On the launch Anurag Bajaj, General Manager, The Park, Hyderabad said, “In today’s era of eco—consciousness and sustainability, we are extremely proud to bring to Hyderabad, India’s first LEED GOLD certified hotel. It environment friendly design and construction ensures that power— consumption is lower by 30 per cent and potable water consumption has come down by 40 per cent.”

The group is investing another Rs. 1,000 crore in the next five years in phase manner to come up with new properties at Mumbai, Goa, Ms. Paul said.
Last year, group turn over was nearly Rs. 1600 crore, Ms. Paul said.
Presently, the Park Hotel are located in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Kerala with total 1145 rooms.
The management expects 60 per cent occupancy during the first year and will reach the break - even point by 2014 -15.
