The third session of the Telangana Legislature will commence on Mach 7.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Friday issued separate notifications summoning the Assembly and Council to meet at 11 a.m. on March 7. There will be a joint session of the Telangana Legislature where the Governor will address members.
In the meantime, TS Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary convened a meeting with senior officials. The meeting was attended by Legislative Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud, Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and Additional DG Sudeep Lakhtakia. It was decided that Gate 1 would be used by the Telangana Chief Minister, Speaker and the Ministers, while Gate 2 would be earmarked for the AP Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues besides the Speaker.
