No to power tariff: Ryotu Sangam

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Ryotu Sangham (APRS) protested on Wednesday against the proposed tariff on power supplied by the Ethipothula Lift Irrigation scheme, according to a press release here.

APRS president K. Ramakrisha, working president P. Venkat Reddy and general secretary R. Venkayyalu opposed the move.

They also flayed Planning Commission's advice that pump sets must be fitted with meters.
