The Cyberabad police on Friday arrested a Nigerian national Abdul Mohammad Alibased, who allegedly cheated a person in the name of trading in ‘Cotiafolia BQ’ , a dry nut used for medicinal purposes. According to the police, a woman named Dr. Venessa Wilson contacted the victim Kaniveti Raju through Facebook and offered him a business deal where he could make some money by supplying some nuts to her in United States. Based on Raju’s complaint, Cyberabad Cyber Crime sleuths analysed the bank transactions and deputed a team to Mumbai for further investigation, found one of the suspects operating from Mumbai and arrested him.
