Nagpur flights diverted to Hyderabad

Three aircraft on their way to Nagpur from Mumbai were diverted to Hyderabad owing to bad weather conditions in Nagpur on Saturday morning. Two of the aircraft flew back to Nagpur after a brief stop over in Hyderabad, while the third one is still in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), airport sources said.

The Indigo flight from Mumbai to Nagpur which was diverted to Hyderabad took off at 10.15 a.m. but returned to Hyderabad by 12.30 p.m. So far, the flight has not been given clearance to fly back to Nagpur, sources said.

The other two aircraft, Air India IC-129 and Jetlite 111 landed at RGIA and flew back to Nagpur after sometime.
