Nag returns and so does the challenge to win a fortune, up to a crore. Starting this Monday, actor Nagarjuna Akkineni’s popular show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK) will be back on Maa TV.

In its first edition, the game show generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm among people.

Apart from several aspirants trying to make it to the show, there were a lot others who remained glued to the television sets to catch the fun and the quizzing.

According to Maa TV, the show was watched by over four crore audience with highest ratings.

Clearly, the connect brought about by the presence of Nagarjuna and the ratings that soared had Maa TV bringing back a new edition of the show within four months of the first series, which the channel says is unheard of in Indian TV space for this kind of game show format.

Participants shortlisted

For the latest series, the channel has shortlisted eligible participants. Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK) is scheduled at 9.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

On the re-launch of MEK, N. Prasad, Maa TV chairman says: “It’s a life changing game show and a testimony to the abilities of Maa TV in creating a positive social impact by rewarding knowledge.”
