A 37-year-old man was crushed to death under the wheels of a lorry at Shiva Ganga Rice Mill in Turkayamjal in Vanasthalipuram on Sunday morning. The victim, D. Yadaiah of Turkayamjal, was sleeping inside the mill when the lorry driver suddenly took reverse and ran over Yadaiah. Death was instant for Yadaiah, police said.
Man hangs self
A 22-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Hafeezbabanagar on Sunday. Police said Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, an autorickshaw driver, ended his life owing to personal reasons.
Tyre showroom burgled
Burglars took away tyres worth over Rs. 3 lakh from an MRF showroom at Raghavendra Colony in Hayathnagar on Saturday night.
